Learning Arrows: Managing Self

We have 5 learning arrows with different colours. Each arrow has some learning we have to do to manage our own learning. The goal is get to the red arrow.

Wicked Word Wall

We have a wicked word wall in our classroom. It has interesting describing words on it. If we find an awesome word we get to put it on the wall.

Spy Book

Our class book is called The Spy Meeting. We are learning about spies. We have illustrated some poems.

Student of the Week

Every week the teacher chooses a person who has been learning well They have to make a poster with a picture of themselves and some information about themselves. They also get to sit in a special chair.

More Learning in Room 11

Basic Facts
We have a basic facts ladder. Your name is put by the level you are on. We are tested on subtraction and addition.








Imaginary Friend
We had to draw our imaginary friend on black paper with pencil. We had to colour them in with pastel. Then we had to write a story.









Teepee
We have a Teepee in our classroom. We are allowed to read in it.










Cubes
We had to cut out a template of a cube. Our cubes were all different colours. We wrote our names on the face of the cube.

Learning in Room 3 by Room 11

Monster Stories

We read the book Monsters for Hire. We drew a picture of a monster and put our story in the middle. We were learning to add details to our writing.








Gnomes
We read No home for Gnomes. We had to draw the ugliest gnome we could. We were learning to use synonyms to improve our learning.







Room 11 in Room 3

We are in Room 3 because Room 11 is getting done up. Our new room will have new carpet, heaters and a new clockbay.








Our Special Places

We went to Sugar Loaf in a small group. We took some photos. At school use printed out the photos, stuck them on a big sheet of paper and added some information.
